On the left navigation menu, click Commend> Badges.
Mouse over the menu option and click + Badge.
Enter the necessary details:
Details: title and description of the badge.
Values: tie in your org context.
Drivers: tie in your org context.
KRA: tie in your org context.
Unit: make this badge exclusive for specific groups or units.
Tools:
Allow Comment: Check this box to allow commenting in the activity feed for members.
Logo: Badge image (displayed on Commend page for members).
Manager: Select a member to administer activities relating to this badge. The manager must first be a manager of a unit.
Active: “Yes” means this badge can be accessed by members. “No” means offer cannot be accessed. You can update the status anytime by editing the badge.
Points: Enter points to be earned by member for receiving the badge.
Click Save.
Access Badges
On the left navigation menu, click Commend> Badges. This page displays all badges created.
Tabs
Active: Displays all Badges created.
Archive: Displays all Badges that have been archived. When a Badge is archived, members cannot view or award the badge.
Edit a Badge
On the Badges page, under “Badge Name” column, click the badge title.
Make the necessary edits > click Update on step 6.
Badge - Performance
To view performance for each badge, on the Badges page, under "Rankings" column, click to view the list of members who have received this badge.
Ranking: Displayed by highest to lowest, starting with the member who received the most points or received the most recognition.
Commend Performance
On the left navigation menu, click Commend> Performance. This page displays the achievement or performance of each employee.
Click the team name to see the achievement or performance of each employee in that team.
Table Columns
Rank: The rank is based on the highest number of points received from Commend badges.
Employee: Full name of the user.
Team: Unit the user belongs to.
Badges: Number of badges received.
Recognitions: Number of badges received.
Points Received: Total number of points received from recognitions.
Commend Credit
This is the number of points companies award members, to be used for Commend only. Members receive Commend credit and give recognition based on their Commend balance. Commend credit cannot be used to redeem rewards.
To give credit, go to Performance page > under “Actions” column, click Give Credit.
On the Give Credit pop up box, enter the number of credit, description and click Give Credit.
Member Commend Credit History
Go to Performance page > under “Actions” column, click View Statement.
Credit Summary
Received: Total number of credit received.
Spent: Total number of credit spent.
Balance: Remaining or current Commend balance.
Types of Events
Event 1: When company or manager adds Commend credit.
Event 2: Credit deducted when user post recognition.
Event 3: Points earned from badge when user receives recognition. Points earned here is not added to the Commend Balance. This points is added to the main points balance, that is used to redeem gift items.
Recognitions Submitted
On the left navigation menu, click Commend> Recognitions. Recognitions are badges awarded from one member to the other.
Table Columns
Date Submitted: Date the badge was awarded or date the recognition was given.
Badge: Badge image.
Badge Name: Name or title of the badge.
Team: This is the name of the unit that the giver and the awardee belong to. The Giver’s unit on top, and the awardee’s below.
Awardee: The user who receives the badge.
Giver: The user who gives or awards the badge.
Points: Total number of points allocated to the badge, received by the awardee.
Commend - Teams
On the left navigation menu, click Commend > Teams.
Table Columns
Members: Total number of members in the team.
Points: Total number of points earned by all members in the team.
Recognitions: Total recognitions received by all members in the team.
Badges: Total number of badges the team has access to.
Click on the team name to see the achievement or performance of each employee in that team.
